Daily prompt is really useful in helping me discover words and prod deeper into their meanings. All these while, I only knew of this term being used in music. Now I know it is an apt word to use to describe my latest inspiration: I shall riff about my past life love stories as they unfold in my journey! I have already collected quite a few in my pocket, the latest one being so touching that it actually inspires me to write them on a public platform. :/

I am still very much caught up in the story of my past life uncovered on Saturday. It was a very heart-wrenching but incredibly passionate and inspiring love story. I was in tears when I had to make the statements to close that chapter from 500years ago. However, I was absolutely emotionless when narrated the story, other than feeling my solar plexus all knotted up. The emotionlessness was supposedly because it hurt too much and my soul/body/etc shut down so as not to go through it again. Shrugs. I don’t know. One can’t say much about something that one doesn’t feel anything about.

Anyhow, it was a very beautiful romantic love story of a pair of star-crossed lovers whose souls were impacted so badly by their own love story that it still haunted them 500years later. Sounds like too great a storyline to miss out on, so I will just conjure it into a new fictitious love story on that basis, something that is more accepting to my poor wounded soul. And I guess the best part would be that I can recreate that into a ending of happily-ever-after if I so choose to. 😀

I am so looking forward to writing this! Except that I have to script my work proposal first. :/ Till then … let my imagination run wild …
