Is it legit to find food captivating? Teehee. Waffles and pancakes apply!! The one thing (I categorise waffles and pancakes as One!) that can ground me in the absolute present moment is having my own plate of waffles and pancakes. It captures all my attention that nothing else can break that focus. How empowering is that! 😀
The sad truth is I am gluten-intolerant. Or maybe that is why I am especially captivated by it. During the rare (or maybe not exactly that rare) moments when I give up every other rules in life and just focus on enjoying every single bite of them. Yummzzzzie!!

Yes and Yes! Food is captivating with its mouth watering scents and seductive colours. And ice cream is the most tempting of all, at least for me 🙂

haha, good reminder – part of it could have been due to the colours. I love the fruity ones alot more cos they are tantalisingly pretty. 😀 and i love how the maple syrup drizzles over them and soften the hard appearance of crispy waffles. Perfect balance.
I like ice-cream too! But waffles/pancakes rank higher. 😉
