Taking the urban forest concept a little too literally. Here we have the Avatar trees~
It is a pretty cool (literally) place to be in, as there are two air-conditioned conservatories! Climate control such that the seasonal plants from all of the world can be grown and showcased here thematically.
This place is a little crowded even on weekdays, so I would not exactly go there with a book and chill out on a hot afternoon, much as I have dreamt about doing so from the day I knew about this project.
I made it there on a really sleepy day, only because an ex- studio buddy flew in from Melbourne. We travelled across Central Australia together, and met up in so many different cities, such coincidences over a dozen years! Or as she puts it, “新加坡这么小,怪不得你每次不小心就出国了” (Singapore is so small, it is no wonder you always accidentally travel overseas). 😀
Wow! Fabulous!

My comp is down, so I can’t upload the even more fantabulous panoramas.

If you come around again in 2023, there’s going to be an even more amazing park (or two!) by then!!! 😀

My husband is trying to get a flight there on his rotations for us to go together. When I went, I used miles for my flight so I splurged on the hotel and stayed at Marina Bay Sands with a view of that Garden!
