Welcome

A picture paints a thousand words, and this one says, “Welcome home” x 3.

After a couple of hours drive in the beautiful mountains (=very curvey roads), we knew we’re back at the village when we see the military guard post. Two more checkpoints to go! Then it’s down the village road, to the rows of houses where everyone knows everyone. Neighbourliness is when you can hop down to one of the very few owners of washing machines and ask to borrow for a bit, because you aren’t heading to the city (=no laundry service) that weekend.
