That car with the “retractable wheels” Is a French car, a Citroën, I forgot the model, and it had air shocks (not retractable wheels) and therefore a completely smooth ride. I got to ride in one in Guangzhou in 1982. It was a taxi. It was perfect for the half dirt/half-paved roads between the city and the village where my college was. It was my dream car so that was a pretty awesome experience for me. 🙂

It’s parallel parking, but I have absolutely no idea how it got up the kerb. Tried peering underneath the back, there was no wheel!
