Burble

I had a fantastic burble-ing weekend! Sis was away, and I had the double-Os to myself, and relinquishing them for abit to babybro now and then. If Oliver is babyboo, then Oscar must be babyhaa. These two brothers are so different! Booboo takes very good care of Oscarcar, protecting him from Godzilla and making sure he gets fed. 😀

This is the first time I get to spend solid time with the Small-O, and he is finally warming up to me. We had tonnes of conversation – all the googoo and gaagaa, and he really enjoys my kind of humour, chuckling so much throughout our convo.

Seeing these babies in our “daycare”, I can now understand the patterns of invisibility of a middle child. As an aunt, and having spent 4 years journeying with my first close nephew, everything was a first, everything was a novelty. I had so many photos of babyboo doing silly things, but I have yet to take a single photo of babyhaa. This one here is taken by my cousin. I do feel a little biased / unfair at times, but well, I love them the same anyway, just a different level of attention rendered. Well, then again, I am also way busier this period than during babyboo’s growing up days.

Well, as a middle child, I have always enjoyed being left alone. 😀 😀 So I don’t really know whether invisibility really does matter in any way. Babyhaa the second child is totally independent, and he’s very happy to be left alone to sleep, to play, to just chill and contemplate into nothing, all cool and zen as his bigbro babyboo clings on to his mom.

Anyhow, it is a good reconciliation to the stuff my mom says about my paternal aunts and uncles being very unfair to me. Seriously, it doesn’t affect me at all. I still see how they are way closer to my sis, but I am really happy to be left alone, and I know they do not love me any lesser.

Life is fun. Universe throw us mirrors to see from different angles to examine everything at a deeper level than what we were merely one-dimensionally “told” by human beings. ❤
