Cee’s B&W Photo Challenge

Happened to be at a Khmer-Thai restaurant last week which had beautiful tiles. It was a naturally ventilated eatery with very French Indo-chine decor, and I could not resist posing my feet with the tiles.

So here is my rendition of (foot)Steps – the happy feet stepping on happy tiles. The tiles did come in black and white, and so did my shoes that day. Boring black work shoes posing on stylish black and white artistic tiles.

In comparison, when I was younger, I had a a similar photo taken in a Greek restaurant which had similar decorative floor tiles in the Santorini style of blues, and I happened to be wearing matching blue girly pumps. So here we go – younger livelier (foot)Steps.

The weight of life seems to appear on the weight of feet and steps.
