Knotty thoughts

I thought I escaped the heat when I made the trip to Europe from the equator.

Today, I found out:

the escape was when I came back to the equator

and it is 45degrees in France.

Gassssssppppppp

In life, we really don’t know what exactly we are escaping from or venturing towards. There is always that perceived goal and there is always that divine hand. Shrugs. Knotty thoughts.

Well. Enjoy the weekend while I can, and then it’s off to Japan again. All will be good. Well, then again, everything will always be divinely perfect.

  1. Just arrived back in the US (where it’s surprisingly cool). Enjoy Japan (where it’s also been surprisingly cool). 🙂

Were you in Japan? I’ll be in Tokyo for three days! I think I’ll just go shopping. 😀 I didn’t get to shop when I was in Paris.

      1. About six weeks, doing some (sort of) work. These days, I generally stay just east of Tokyo-proper, in coastal Chiba. Less expensive way to have some nicer lodgings since I don’t own a place in Tokyo anymore. And the rail line is nearby.

Onsens, music, and the countrysides are my thing. And coming from the US… the food. 😉

      45 C = 113 F! It was about 90 F when I left a few days ago!
      Thanks, I’ll enjoy Japan!
