Wine-tasting exercises averaging 25 types a sitting (or standing) is bound to have any person wear her heart on the sleeve. Here are the pics of a full week on happy highs, tasting lines of wines in Bourgogne.
It was a really fun trip, although I do not have the technical knowledge of wines and their tastes, but I could discern enough on what I like and what I do not. I kept getting nudges from drinking, “you drank it up again?” cos we were supposed to just taste and spit them out. “I like it, it’s a waste not to,” I replied and onwards to LalaLand again. So yes, I enjoyed every bit of the wine and dine experience, and every bit of the sunshine I got in the crisp air of agricultural land.
This set below are as many pics as I could feature of this visit. Vineyards after a while just look like any other vineyards, however unique the wines taste. Most of the time, we were underground in the wineries, and I would be enjoying the sunlight (or trying to sober up) once we got back up aboveground.
What I can offer are beautiful pics of all the tiny dégustation dishes we had there! They were so pretty, with tiny sprouts and dainty flowers planted on the food. Minuscule foodies that could hardly fill a mouthful. More food for my eyes than my mouth or stomach. 😀
OK, now I’m hungry. Cool interpretation of this theme.
